At the moment Adolis Garcia hit the 11th inning, walk-off homerun of Game 1 of the 2023 World Series, the Ascendant-Descendant axis in Arlington was positioned in the 15 degree of Cancer and the 15 degree of Capricorn. These axes points were conjunct to the Mars-Saturn opposition in the birthchart of the Texas Rangers. This conjunction to the Rangers’ Saturn and Mars is highly relevant since the ringed planet rules extra-innings, comebacks and championship games. The Rangers had tied Game One in the 9th Inning. Saturn gave them the opportunity to win it in the 11th inning.

The Rangers’ Mars-Saturn opposition has proven rather malefic in their history. This aspect has brought generational conflicts between players and managers (See Rangers chapter of my book) as the archetype of the father (an embodiment of Saturn), has clashed with the archetype of the son (an incarnation of Mars). This opposition has also brought the franchise repeated post-season frustrations. In the 1990s, the team often lost in the first round of the playoffs. They are also one of the few franchises never to win a World Series. Both Mars and Saturn have been frustrated in this opposition. But perhaps the walk-off homerun by Adonis Chapman shows a maturity and change of energy. The Rangers have often tasted the frustration of Saturn. Perhaps now the franchise has evolved and is ready to reap its finer blessings.
