Notes on Game One

Posted on October 27, 2021 By cesarlove
World Series Game 1 October 26, 2021 7:09 pm CDT Houston, Tx

October 27, 2021

In my most recent blog post, I noted that Uranus conjunct the Ascendant would at the start of the game would favor the Braves’ offense. The leadoff hitter Jorge Soler hit a homerun on the third pitch of the game at 5:12, three minutes into the game. Uranus rules the homerun in addition to the left fielder. I was anticipating that left fielder Eddie Rosario would lead off, but he was the DH and number 5 hitter.

I also wrote in my last blog that Venus square Neptune could bring inattention and dreaminess to the game. As Frank Thomas put it afterwards, “It looked like a ho-hum effort” from Houston. There appeared to be a lack of total focus, which included Ryne Stanek’s missed effort to stop an infield grounder. Also, Yuli Gurriel was thrown out at second base after hitting a drive to the left field wall.

Charlie Morton left the game at 8:33 pm CDT for what would be revealed to be a fractured fibula. Oddly, he left as Jupiter of 22 Aquarius was conjunct the MC and the Moon in Cancer was square to Mercury in Libra. Pitchers are ruled by Mercury. The square would bring tension to a pitcher but is not indicative of a severe injury. There does not appear to be a transit to the Braves’ birthchart to indicate an injury to a pitcher. A study of Morton’s own birthchart would likely be revealing.
