Valkyries Lift Off Under Uranus Transit

The Golden State Valkyries played their first official game on May 16, 2025 under strong Uranian transits in keeping with the ground breaking nature of the team.  The Sun and Uranus were conjunct at 26 and 27 degrees of Taurus as they made their official debut. My speculation is that Uranus rules the game of basketball. See my article in The Mountain Astrologer on basketball. Uranus is also present in such ventures as women’s sports that challenge traditional gender roles.

The Valkyries would lose their debut game to the Los Angeles Sparks 84-67.  Their transits for the game were not auspicious as Venus in Aries was opposite the Sun in Libra.
