Giants Score 23 under Full Moon and Uranus Transit Posted on September 3, 2020September 3, 2020 By cesarlove (Sept. 2, 2020) On Sept, 1, 2020, the Giants scored 23 runs under a full moon and under transits to their natal Uranus. Such an outpouring of runs is highly unusual even in the thin air of Coors Field. The flood was unleashed by the transit of Mercury conjunct to the Giants’ natal Uranus at 23 degrees Virgo. Uranus rules left fielders and home runs. Not surprisingly, the barrage of runs was led by left fielder Alex Dickerson who hit three home runs and two doubles. Dickerson also tied the Giants record for 16 total bases in a game held by Willie Mays since 1961. The Sun in transit at 10 degrees Virgo was in a tight trine to Uranus in transit at 10 degrees Taurus. On days with this harmonious flow between the Sun and Uranus, many home runs are hit. Indeed, Marcell Ozuna of the Braves also hit three home runs on this day. The Giants absorbed this transit from the Sun as a 75 degree aspect to their MC of 25 degrees Scorpio. The Sun was also in a direct square to their Mercury at 10 degrees Sagittarius. When the game ended at 10:19 MDT, the Moon was at 9 degrees 40 minutes Pisces, within one degree of an exact full moon and also square to the Giants’ Mercury. The energy of a full moon is very strong and on this evening in Denver, the Giants held it in their bats. Usually, square aspects to Mercury in a mutable sign such as Sagittarius prove disruptive to a team’s pitching. But the Giants were able to hold this energy because of the added transit of Mercury to their natal Uranus in Virgo. Their Sun, in the pitcher’s sign of Gemini, was sandwiched by the energy of the full moon. With their Sun at 8 degrees Gemini, it received a square from both the Sun and Moon. Six Rockies pitchers would yield 23 earned runs. Sept 1, 2020 box score Blogs
