Padres First No-Hitter Under Saturn Transit Posted on April 26, 2021April 26, 2021 By cesarlove Joe Musgrave no-Hitter last out. April 9, 2021 7:52 pm PDT Arlington, Texas The San Diego Padres finally recorded the first no-hitter in franchise history on April 9, 2021 under transits to their natal Saturn and Pluto. The Padres birthchart contains a quincunx aspect between Saturn of 20 degrees Aries and Pluto of 20 degrees Virgo. The Padres franchise has been playing since 1969, and Padres fans had been wondering where was that no-hitter, especially since the franchise has enjoyed so many outstanding pitchers. Astrologically, the dearth of no-hitters in Padres history has been particularly striking since the team has several planets in Gemini, a pitcher’s sign, and Virgo Rising, also a pitcher’s sign. Not to mention, their twin franchise, the Nationals/Expos, had two no-hitters in their first season. San Diego Padres May 27, 1968 1:01 pm PDT San Diego, Ca. Saturn, however, directs things to unfold in time. With the Sun at 20 degrees Aries, tightly conjunct the Padres’ Saturn, Joe Musgrave pitched the Padres’ first no-hitter. Other planets also made aspects to the Padres’ Saturn. The energy of the square between Mars at 21 Gemini and Neptune at 21 Pisces would be harnessed by the Padres birthchart as well. The Padres’ Pluto of 20 Virgo absorbed Mars and Neptune as a square and opposition. Squares and oppositions from Mars often prove disruptive to birthcharts with planets in mutable signs. The Padres have a several planets in the mutable signs of Gemini and Virgo, yet they were able to hold the energy of a very challenging square between Mars and Neptune and channel it towards a no-hitter. This shows promise that the transits of 2021 will continue to be channeled favorably by the Padres. Joe Musgrave Dec. 4, 1992 El Cajon, Ca. 12:00 PDT Continuing the theme of Saturn, Joe Musgrave is undergoing a Saturn return in 2021 as his natal Saturn near 14 degrees Saturn is undergoing a conjunction from transitting Saturn. On the day of his no-hitter, Mercury, the planet of pitchers, was in transit at 11 degrees Aries and conjunct Musgrave’s natal Moon. Blogs
